To ensure optimal function, keep your candle free of foreign materials and debris-such as wick trimmings and dust. Only burn candle on a level and fire resistant surface away from movement or anything that may catch fire.
Trim the wooden wick to 1/8” before you light your candle. A wick that is too long will create a large flame and cause the candle to burn hotter than it is intended to. The first time you light your candle, burn for 2-3 hours to allow the melted wax pool to touch or come near the edge of the vessel. Before re-lighting use a wick trimmer, or other tool, to trim the previously burnt portion and bring the wick hight back to 1/8”. Discard any debris from the vessel prior to re-lighting.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Stop burning and repurpose your vessel when 1/2" of unmelted wax remains.
